THE GOP - SOUTH CAROLINA
The results of South Carolina have pretty much devastated this Fredhead and Reagan-coalition conservative. Sure, Fred Thompson has run perhaps the most unorthodox and ineffective campaign, but I had my hopes set on message taking precedence over everything else, especially in South Carolina. Alas, John McCain pulled off an impressive win, considering this is the state that flatly rejected him over our current president eight years ago.

    For almost a year, we've been pussyfooting around with moving over to WordPress, and finally, Christmas break 2008 has afforded me the opportunity to do so. So, here we are now, at Vandy Right. With this post, we formally bid auf wiedersehen to Right-Wing Vitriol, the fine title we operated under for almost a year, in favor of something a little more sturdy and traditional. We are, after all, conservatives.

  • Our final issue of the fall semester is busting with campus and local news, from Greek Life to gays. And, lest we forget, the back page features the Christmas Wish List for Hard-Candy Christmas 2008. Good times.
